We need more of this on all socials from up and coming leaders.As an aunt or a sales sherpa, I feel like it's my job to help others get out of the technical weeds.Melissa shares her process- which is awesome, but I want to call attention to#salesleadersfor one nuanced shift that will catapult your team.Salespeople are great at talking about technical problems - that is what we are inclined to sell to. The issue becomes that buyers do not buy because of broken processes. Companies live with broken processes all the time!It is our job as sellers to identify the business problems (not a process) that our buyer's are facing. What are the impacts and what is the gap?So in this video example, I'd encourage sellers to think further - what does the broken process of having a different payroll system in each country do for/to the business?Go deeper - even deeper...ask yourself "why does this matter".Perhaps stalled growth or rapid growth, employee retention, compliance...That's where the business problems lie - in the non process - can't fix right away problems.
